Most personal finance podcasts stay within the rosy realms of established norms and mainstream opinions. The ones that veer off into less explored waters are more interesting, and what I’m listing here.
- Survival Podcast – This show centers on survival and libertarianism, but there’s some really great episodes about finance in there from the perspective of “finance as if survival mattered.” Listed first because I was on guest on this show đ
- Radical Personal Finance – a very new but outstanding podcast from Joshua Sheats, a certified financial planner with a plethora of other financial industry designations. Joshua is prolific, releasing easily over an hour of content per day. His site hosts the best and longest interview with Early Retirement Extreme’s Jacob Lunk Fisker on the net.
- Mad Fientist – A small podcast with some interesting guests. Very slow moving but they have one of the only online audio interviews with Mr Money Mustache.
- Dave Ramsey – Mainstream but in an interesting way. Dave Ramsey despises debt and is doing his best to mainstream this very fringe opinion. He might be doing more financial good for the average American than anyone alive today.
These are the 4 podcasts that really stand out for me. If there’s a podcast you think this list is missing, mention it in the comments.
